Re: looking at buying fronty sportHiya Shrekkles..
The sports are good fun, I.M.O more agile / nimble BUT you have to offset that for stability / comfort against a LWB. Mines a 'ikkle A series 2.0 sport, and its a giggle to drive, cheap to run, easy to fix Have a look at the SE picnic reviews.. from previous meets - theres plenty of pics / vids with shorties vs. long-uns.. David & Goliath.. http://www.fronteraowners.co.uk/forums/viewforum.php?f=63 Come on down for a play, next one is the 23rd May. John You cant polish a t*rd..
But you can roll it in glitter if its broken - fix it if it isnt - mod it!
Re: looking at buying fronty sportThe sport 2.0 is not a fast of the mark on tarmac truck but its good to use as an everyday car yes mpg is not the best but if you accept it does not accelarate like a car then you will be fine. Lots ofn space in the back for rear passenger all be it they have to squeeze throught the space between the front seat. Not alot of space in the back for storage again let down by the rear seat not splitting. When the rear seat are folded down an folded against front seat you have a large space for storage.
Bonus part all the windows come out in the rear along with the part of the roof can be done in under 10 minutes, which make up for lack of air con, the front has a sun roof. It drive like a car an is happy on the motorway Offroad well i took mine offroad for the first time an well it is a different truck well capable of tackling alot of terrian an inclines without any strains it fits into area the lwb cant 1989 Isuzu Trooper 2.6 (3.1 conversion )

Re: looking at buying fronty sport"A" Series Shorty's more than hold their own against the LWB. They are more agile off road having the shorter wheelbase. Love mine to bits takes me where i want to go and can take a good pounding! See the Bala thread the review and look at some of them in action.
