Re: SE picnic in the woods...Sunday 25/10/09 REVIEWJust touching on a word of caution as we have been driving our motors hard on the play days.
I took my nearside autolocking hub off today and the snap pin/circlip was not doing it's job. It was not seated in the slot and the autolocker just pulled straight off without the struggle of removing the circlip. The circlip in question was a Vauxhall main dealer snap pin and was only fitted new a few months ago. Might be that I hadn't fitted it properly, but I do remember on the previous picnic day, when I needed a second attempt to get up the slope with the fallen tree roots, there was a crack when a wellied it to get up past the roots (see vid).
