Heaters/Blowers always HOT

Hi all,

I've bought a second Frontera and it's a bit of a dog. I can fix most of the niggles but the blowers are always hot. Even when turned down they are still warm. I pulled the nob off the panel to make sure it was turned all the way down and it is.

I take it there is a valve that is controlled by the panel. Are any of them common to fail? And where is valve? I changed one on a fiesta once so I know kinda how they work.

Or someone has broken the flaps whilst changing the matrix.

Better to have heaters on than not working especially while it's still cold. You can always open the window.I had a miserable few days recently with no heat, well strictly speaking no fan. The cab got warmer gradually when I was driving but made it unpleasant in the morning with not being able to blast the windscreen. I resoldered the thingy in the ducting behind the glovebox and it worked again thankfully .
Hope it's an easy fix.
