Laptop problem.

Hi guys.
Desperate situation.
I have a Sony Vaio laptop which i mainly use to develop my photos. Shut it down yesterday as normal but it wont even light up today and I have wedding photos on it.
Tried everything i can think of to reboot it but it is dead.
Any help would be appreciated.

Does the power supply have an indicator light on it as possibly the battery is flat and psu blown.

Or the charging cable isn't charging and the battery is totally dead.

Light is on on the charger but nowhere else

Get a multimeter on the jack plug of the psu check the brick for expected voltage.
