fronty pas or light steer carmy uncle he has motor neuron so his upper mussel are wasting away and steering has become very hard for him, hes currently driving a doblo and struggling with it now .... hes had a go at the megan and said its a bit lighter but still tad heavy lock to lock. I've suggested a swb fronty for the height getting in and out but he wouldn't be able to move the wheel.. so could i install a corsa b electric steering column on a fronty leaving the original set up alone, sort of a push along system?

Re: fronty pas or light steer car2.0 Sport I would reckon. Smallest with the lightest engine.
I would say the B series would be lighter having a rack as opposed to a box though. Someone who has owned both as sports would be the nest to speak to. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771

Re: fronty pas or light steer carmake sure both front tyres are fully inflated to the max psi, i also find that when the front has been jacked up for any reason the steering is slightly lighter for a while ( funk knows why ) also has he tried a steering wheel knob -

Re: fronty pas or light steer carso looking good for a swb b then, would the electric coluom work ok with the existing hydrolic set up
Re: fronty pas or light steer carDon't over inflate the tyres .. you will compromise heavily on traction and get major uneven tyre wear.
As for the electric column I have no idea .. you can get universal powere steering systems. You have to remember that the Frontera is an Isuzu .. the Corsa is a Vauxhall for compatibility issues. Some things are cross compatible .. others aren't.
Re: fronty pas or light steer carA skinnier tyre would be a better option .. though might look a little funny if the offset is out.
