3 ways. 1. Cut it in half 2. remove the radiator 3. Remove fan

Cut it in half? How I get access to it to be able to do so? I can only get to the top of it. Thanks for the reply, any particular way in mind? Ive drawn a blank. Normally im pretty clued up with this sort of thing but man this has got me stumped.

The bottom of the cowl is pushed into 2 slots on the rad. If I remember when I took mine off it was a t**t but managed to pull it up enough to get it out the slots, so it be moved out the way to get rad out. Or go to halfords and get 2 fan spanners and take the fan off. Just remember it's right hand thread

Remove shroud from rad, hook over fan, and then remove rad, unhook fan shroud from over fan and lift out...

Thanks for the link mate. It says hit to the left! Ill go with that. Will putting the engine in gear stop the main shaft turning so I dont need two spanners?

Well.......that could of gone better! Lol. Got the fan off and rad moving, went to pull the cowl out and it just snapped in two! Meh!
Should of gone with the brute force approach from the start.
Good news is the captive nuts came loose first twist! Im feeling hopeful here.....touch wood
