Iv got that bumper now and iv since made a HD rear bumper to match incorporating a tow bar

I took those concept renders on A3 to the Total Off Road show at Donnington and discussed my requirement at length with the guys on the 4x4 R Us stand - we arranged to meet up a few weeks later and they took their own dimensions.

A few years down the line, it appears there are subtle differences in the real world dimensions of the Frontera (for example, wilberforce removed the winch bumper off my old 2.8LWB and tried to fit it to his 2.8LWB - it would not fit).

Therefore, to garentee a good fit, it would appear a bespoke solution to each vehicle is required.

Hi Jim,

as a friend got an industrial ARB Bumper for his Frontera and even that had to be customized / adjusted to fit properly, you should design it for your car dimensions.

Just have a look for the front 'dents' of the frame to weld the base-plate in, then do the new bumper by scratch around it. Fixing the winch to a bumper alone won't be tough enough for wrecking purposes.

There was an old post running from 2013 where somebody Colley knew was making. Not sure it there still being made, if not, might give you some ideas if you can get somebody to knock one up for you.
If Jim (Wilberforce) doesn't mind me mentioning, I did see an old post where he had a PDF of a winch plans.

There was a company making tubular winch bumpers to order for the Frontera however the name evades me at the moment, if I don't try to think about it then it may come to me (old age setting in)
