They where shipped today and i just filled my tank 78ltrs
So I'm give milage on the iridium ngkrs that i hav fitted now that have 22k in the last 14mths. As a comparison the guy in the states i spoke to said he got an extra 20 miles on a tank in his ls1. Big block v8 powered truck. Running on gas. Plus the power curve starts earlier as getting better bang for your buck as it always puts more gas in as it's dense so burns hotter later than petrol which combust much earlier in the cycle. That's why hotter temperature when canning a v6 down the country lanes.
So having greater spark area and a few sparks helps detonate the gas earlier and preduce a more petrol like explosion so you only should lose 5 10 percent power than the usual 15 to 20 percent and with the green spark plug Company doing them on eBay for 43.70 delivered works out as cheap as a set of the iridium tip ngkr race ones i normally get that cost me 45 for 6
So when i go to fill up I'll swap plugs out as the last 3 Mike to the station won't really matter on the milage for this tanks figures.
Then next full tank on new plugs I'll put the figures up as well. People can comment with what they get as not all drive there's as far as fast as i do. Lol
See if we can't get some useful compassion on what plugs what kind of driving and what you get to a tank then break it down to what every is gets to a tenner if we set the gas price so we all is the set price.
That way we can see the difference. And if someone's way I've the rest we may have a lead foot or a problem they need to look into. If you see what i mean
cheers
