after a day trip to Cardiff I managed to get me a new toy. I picked up a v6 auto for £500 and it's not in bad nick. Needs a bit of work but nothing major.

considering I've never driven any auto car I'm reasonably pleased with the truck it handled the 240 mile trip home with no problem.

I spoke too soon with this one I have done loads.

Heads skimmed
Gaskets
All the Belts
re welding wheel arches and some other holes
refurbing or replacing drive shaft
and ive yet to fit new carpet

Welcome to the v6 club but don't put your tools away you'll need them constantly

Seeing as you've done so much work with it have you considered gassing it as we get about 60 miles to a tenner and 72/73 on a Motorway run doing the speed limit

No I have plenty planned so the tools wont be going away. Need to keep busy.

I did think about getting it gassed, but first I'm going to get her roadworthy again then look at what mods I can do. (Probably suspension lift, snorkel and some extra lights as well)

I run led work lights as spot the difference is amazing lol

Already lifted the Granny out of mine cat back stainless skins sweet. Just got a set of brisk racing multi spark plugs to go in 43 from the green spark plug company works out cheaper than the ngkr iridium tip ones i normal run.

If you love the power of the v6 an lpg kit means i get 60 to 70 miles to a tenner and 260 300 for 75 liters depending how i drive round town at 44 quid. I save 1700 on every 8000 miles compared to running it on petrol all the time
