Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soonCool see you all tomorrow
Today I made a start first off I took the fuel tank/carrier off. Then took the tank out of the carrier. The old carrier will need some patches & welding before I put it up for sale. Then I managed to removed the old flexi brake pipe then put the new one on along with new pipes to the brake callipers. Well need checking then bleeding. ![]() ![]() i hate having Dyslexia

Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soonWe still have some jobs for tomorrow.
Steering idler Remove & fit Springs Abr bushes and quick release drop links then make brackets for when they are disconnected. Check and bleed the brakes Fit uj to propshaft Refit the fuel tank Plus one more job I haven't got round to doing. Fit a new heater blower i hate having Dyslexia
Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soonHave any of you got one of those.
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... 0799205756 It would come in handy measuring the heavy duty tank guard then we could get a CAD drawing for them i hate having Dyslexia
Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soonNo, but I have got the next best thing, and a tank guard sat outside my shed awaiting treatment, and a decent mig to do the welding, and a tame metal supplier down the road with some nice sheet steel (3mm & 4mm) that I need to pick up, and a decent saw to cut it all up.... All I need now is the TIME to cut the plate up and make a decent tank guard!!!!
Oh and I'll CAD it up as well while making it, just need to get another comp for the shed. This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
