Evening all, just a quick warning about this truck http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vauxhall-fron ... 2edcb41fe9 that is currently on E-bay. I know this truck pretty well having worked on it and known the last two owners, in fact I put the owners in touch with one another. This truck was involved in a heavy front end collision some time in that last 12 months. I'm afarid I don't recall exactly when. It was considered beyond economic repair although in fairness I'm not sure if the owner went through the insurance company or not in the end ? Either way it looks like it has now been repaired and back on the road which is not nessaserily a bad thing but would be worth checking the front chassis rails and all front end panels line up if thinking of parting withy any cash for it. I'm not trying to put anyone off of buying it should they wish to do so just make you aware of some of it's history as the crash doesnt seem to have been mentioned in the add and the 4 four of the five new tyres that he claims to have receipts for are no longer on the car. It did have a set of 265/75 R16 M/T all round that matched what is currently on the spare wheel but they seem to have vanished looking at the pics so I'd also check tyre sizes and type match if viewing.

Good heads up Mark.
Just looked through his pictures and as you say those tyres aren't same as spare, infact they are all terrains and not muds. Also one looks like its had a puncture repair and another tyre is cracking between the tread. Definitely not new.
Car dealer who doesn't know one tyre from another.
I asked a question about the tyres ....
Hi, In the ad you mentioned 5 wide and chunky mud tyres, are they to be fitted when truck sells ? The tyres currently on the truck are a mixture of makes of All Terrain tyres and certainly not new. In fact the NSF tyre is showing signs of cracking between the tread which is normally associated with older tyres.
and this was his response....
Yes the tyres in the pic are the ones being sold with the car, they were new but that was a few thousand miles ago. As for cracking all 4x4 tyres go like that even when not very old, I will be fitting the original wheels back on soon and reducing the price to £750.
What a knob !!!

Was this the lifted Green Lwb? Clown wanted my A AND £500 to Px/purchase. I also questioned the mix match of tyres, to which he replied keep yours and swap them over, good luck getting 33's on a B with no body lift and arch chopping was my answer.

He's now selling a couple of green LWB 'B' Series doors, wonder where they came from?
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ) Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you....
