Anyone up for a spanner party soonAnyone up for a spanner party at mine in Harlow Essex
If you can help please add you name and when you are free I have a couple of jobs that needs doing. 1 fit new uj's the the propshalf then fit prop to car 2 fit a extended flexi brake pipe plus copper pipes to rear axle 3 remove old drop links & fit quick release rear drop links 4 fit new arb bushes 5 remove old +2 inch coil springs fit +3 coil springs 6 fit heavy duty fuel tank carrier i hate having Dyslexia

Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soonFunnily I did my one on the Mk.I. 24 years old and it popped off the end of the idler with one smack of a lump hammer. I did have a 5' breaker bar on it at the same time.

This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... Re: Anyone up for a spanner party soon1 the new uj's come with circlips. I've already removed the old ones and fitted one new uj but gave up trying to fit the other one because I broke the bearings so had to order another new one.
2 heavy duty tank guard cleaned the painted 3 have been spraying all the bolts with wd40 4 we shouldn't have any problems with the shocks and abr bushes because they were taken off a couple of months ago when I fitted the +2 springs ( those spring will be up for sale when the +3 springs are on ) i hate having Dyslexia
