I have a couple of jobs that needs doing.

1 fit new uj's the the propshalf then fit prop to car
2 fit a extended flexi brake pipe plus copper pipes to rear axle
3 remove old drop links & fit quick release rear drop links
4 fit new arb bushes
5 remove old +2 inch coil springs fit +3 coil springs
6 fit heavy duty fuel tank carrier

aii not this weekend but next weekend i'll be free

I'm free most days just need to get a move on and finish doing the bjs and bearings on the truck and it'll be ready for a journey down south

Funnily I did my one on the Mk.I. 24 years old and it popped off the end of the idler with one smack of a lump hammer. I did have a 5' breaker bar on it at the same time.

While were on reminders and all that, please give all the bolts that are due to come off a good soaking with penetrating oil.

Plus if you are getting the ujs from milners, check if you have to order circlips separately

1 the new uj's come with circlips. I've already removed the old ones and fitted one new uj but gave up trying to fit the other one because I broke the bearings so had to order another new one.

2 heavy duty tank guard cleaned the painted

3 have been spraying all the bolts with wd40

4 we shouldn't have any problems with the shocks and abr bushes because they were taken off a couple of months ago when I fitted the +2 springs ( those spring will be up for sale when the +3 springs are on )
