Has anyone used power steering sealer? do they work ? my steering pump is leaking a bit and seems to be getting worse , will sealer get me a bit longer out of it while I source a
replacement pump .

Re: leak sealers.many years ago I used wynns brand 'conditioner & sealer' with total success. I'd damaged the seal on the drive pulley (1.6L Cavalier) trying to get it off so as to change the timing belt. The leak was about 25cl or more a week. 10 years later it was still going strong with no leek at all.
Worth a few quid just to try it ?
