So the bus is in for her mot today ..... After inadvertently starting a small business on top of my day job iv not had 5 minutes to prepare her !!!! So I left the garage with the instruction of " if it ain't stupid money just do it " ( stupid money being £300+ )
No phone call as yet ! I'm away from the morning so we will see !! I'm going with Handbrake Rear ARB bush ( iv had the bushes to do it but not had time , so there sat on passenger seat lol ) And exhaust leak ! Maybe some brake lines and my lpg pipe running user the car ( no tank in back yet so can always pull it for now )
Fingers crossed

That is a good bill. Our fronty is in the garage just now having mot repairs and a couple of other jobs done but our garage bill has not landed yet,I think we will just have a bill for labor charge as we bought the parts our self.

I use the garage in the village ! Genuinely fare price , no BS ! And MOT time he realistic !!!! My father inlaw just put his Saab in , rear driver side disc is buggered but because there is a new 1 ready to go in the boot ( I'll be doing it this weekend ) he passed it !.......... I had a old terrano a few years back with a rotted crossmember but again because it was only supporting the rad he gave it a ticket !!!! ( told to weld it up before the next MOT tho )

That is good. Our fronty is not in the mot garage that does mots but hopefully it will be all done and dusted next week. I always dread mot times and I always go with the idea that it will fail rather than passed mot that way I am not disappointed.

I got well and truly stung a few years back before I found FOG !!! Needed mot ASAP as had baby due any minute so put it into farmers in perth ! They failed it on brake lines and ARB linkage ! The repair bill came to £580 .......... Now I know it was at most a £200 job !!!!! Discs pads and shoes ain't a bad job to do , half a day if you have several cups of tea aswell lol

I think our fronty bill is maybe about the same maybe a little more but I am hopeing it will be less,as it is my brothers girlfriends dads garage that is doing our fronty. I am not that convifdent in doing rear brake shoes or discs on the front,we are just leaving them to do it all. Our fronty will definitely be at the Scottish meet this year and it may have its fancy boots on (20" alloys).
