vitara manual hubs

I know it's not frontera but the vitara I just bought has manual locking hubs, except the switch bit won't move. Has anyone any experience with them and is it just a case of cleaning them?

Just take them apart carefully and clean them with some carb cleaner then re-grease!

I think they are very similar to the Aisin ones we see on Frontera's. Cannot be much different to be honest. Have a look here for a rough guide:
