Spent All day yesterday welding , auto helmet working a treat . That evening my left eye in the left hand corner starts to itch , after a hour or 2 it starts looking like iv had a kicking , this morning still the same . Had a good look at me welding mask this morning , the sticker up the side covers a 5 pence size hole were If it adjusted ( shade setting ) the switch would be ....... The sticker had removed it's self ..... Hence me wondering round like I've not slept for a week ....... Check you masks chaps , I'm away to buy a new 1

I've had a couple of night trips to casualty with arc eye over the years. You used to be able to buy flash drops from chemists but I dont think you can any more. Best cure is to have 8 pints before bed then the sand in the eyes feeling doesn't wake you up and in the morning your eyes have healed over.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
