Parking Warsleft work at 6am and found out that the new fitter has decided to start a game of parking wars. I have since informed him that if he wants to put his rear bumper against my front bumper i will repay the favour ,the fact that by the time my rear bumper touches his front bumper my towbar will have gone through his radiator is totally irrelevant. He said he didnt touch my car but the pics prove otherwise. I'm waitingg for the chance to reverse up to his car and place my towbar gently against his bumper, select 4wd ,leave it in gear and apply the handbrake

Re: Parking WarsA smack in the chops is required I think.........I wouldn't put up with his incompetence . My brothers ex mother in law used to park like that and she got her come up pence in a car park when the other guy chained her car to a grid

Re: Parking WarsI've got a similar issue with my neighbor, same problems. Needless too say we don't get exactly get a long, It all started with him complaining too the council about my scissor jack always having a car on it whilst up peeking over his little hedge.
If your gonna play by his rules just be cautious he doesn't get the law involved. Happy Parking ![]()
Re: Parking WarsLegally your allowed to move cars without the owners permission as long as no damage is incurred. So borrow a mates towing eye hook it up and move it so that he is in a comprising position. For example just over some double yellows. Double check that law incase it's changed since we last asked the local plod (a few years ago)
Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for anything ![]() My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments here My old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" Re: Parking WarsBetter not move out here then. Parking is achieved by one of two methods:
1) Drive somewhere near the side of the road. A single wheel is sufficient, and you don't need to worry about the back of the vehicle being stuck out, it's all good! 2) Find a space, drive into it. Doesn't matter if it's too small, or if you need to hit both the front and back car multiple times in order to make the space big enough for your motor. It's all good! It's great fun watching the faces of newcomers who are not yet initiated into rural Spanish living getting their shiny new car reversed into!
