If the last car is coming of the line in 2015, then the last chassis must have been built already!!! :shock:

Rumour has it that LR allow the chassis to soak in seawater for 2 years before they are painted and fitted to all of there products so they achieve a consistant level of corrosion resistance.... :lol:

5 shifts so there is always cover friday nights and saturday nights when there is no production

They said this a few years back.

They will find another engine to meet emissions

Their concepts for replacements so far sucked.

Bring back the 200tdi. Best engine by far......says the man with the 145bhp v8 on su carbs engine in an 87 - 90"

Its all in the cost, like the reason they only made the Frontera 2.8tdi for 18 months as VX wouldn't invest (through licence) anything further than the EGR system to meet future EU emissions.
All down to cost and what the consumer would pay for the end product.
