Please help me out - manual 2.2 TDI

I'll bet you get quite a few new folks on here with the same questions...so I apologise for that to start with. But i have searched the forum pages and can't get a definitive answer to my question....and I'm getting a bit desperate...

A few people mentioned in my other thread mentioned that the ebay/online cd rom manuals for the Frontera B do not cover the 2.2 TDI engine.

Somebody else mentioned another - a TIS cd rom that this covers the 2.2 TDI.

But being unfamilar with Vauxhall in general, can somebody tell me what the TIS is? And if it is the exact same engine?

And the Frontera B cd roms on ebay etc....do they cover everything else ie - bodywork, interior, 4wd stuff etc?

Mine is a 2000 2.2 TDI Limited

Once again - sorry for what I imagine is another often repeated question. But seriously, if somebody to give me some simplified pointers on where to get the exact manuals I need for my Frontera, I would be very grateful.

tis stands for Technical Information Software. it's what vauxhall use when you go to main dealer for repairs. not sure if they cover body work, somebody with more knowledge should be able to give a more definitive answer

Yes I can find the petrol engine manuals everywhere easy enough...thanks for the direct link.

But is there a 2.2 TDI owner out there that could tell me where I could find a manual for the diesel???

See I'm not very experienced mechanically so a manual will be a massive help to me whilst finding my way around this engine....otherwise it will be a nightmare.

Unbelievably just had an ebay seller get back to me regards a question I sent him a few days ago.

Claims his cd rom manual DOES cover the 2.2 TDI.

Seems no need to keep anybody posted as I was being a bit thick considering the TIS covers the TDI.
