I'm new here and keen to learn.

Could someone share with me answers to the following questions:

1. Is there somewhere I can get an owners' manual from?

2. What diagnostic fault scanner thingie should I get??? Is an OV Com (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121154980125? ... 1438.l2649) any use?

3. Can someone give me the craic on the EML??? I've never met one of these before.

3. Eml lights to denote a fault. You will need an OBDII reader to find what codes are present

Will include info, either way read the fault code and then google it.

Just make sure when you buy you order the one that is compatible with your car. There are several models that all look the same, not all of them will work. I have one. And its been pretty good. Also works on some other cars.

Diagnostic Machine acquired and working Thanks for the recommendation, Vauxsqueeks.

EML problem solved with a judicious dose of 10w40, which is odd because the oil light didn't come on but the EML did. Oh well ...
