Been busy.Vinyl graphics & the 1st TOR photoshoot, 2much's A

With the photoshoot with total off road magazine down our woods this weekend, and me presenting stevey2stucks car for its shoot as Ste's off replacing his fake tan somewhere sunnier, I decided that Ste's truck needed some FOG stickers to complete its look.
I washed and polished it, so it looked its best for the piccies, and then set about getting my head round the vinyl cutter that I have on long term loan off my mate Blob, thats lurking in the office...
Took some trial and error, and had to set the cutter up again as it didnt seem to cut deep enough to start out, but i was quite pleased with the results.
Came up with a kinda subtle FOG sticker that was there but not in your face to compliment his truck after sifting through a disc of about 5000 different fonts.

Anyway here are the results....not too bad I dont think for a first real attempt with it...

Steve will kill me for this, but I couldnt resist...so I also did his trucks "name" as well

His trucks lovingly known as the rainmaker at the SE gatherings down our woods, as whenever he lowers the soft top it starts to rain, or hail even sometimes following by a monsoon...
and no sooner did I apply the sticker....then it was as if the car responded to its acknowledgement and this happened...

The photoshoot, which we did on this car today following a recce round the woods and picking photo locations, went really well, I tried as best I could to show Alan what Ste's truck was capable of, and he was suitably impressed I think, and I reckon he got some great pics for their magazine...
proper flexed out and got it into some pretty off camber stuff where is was pretty near, but not quite at the point, which was indeed "interesting" (and made me a bit nervous TBH...a first in a long time when it comes to offroad driving) as I have never driven this truck of Ste's before, and playing a game with gravity with it first time out requires a lot of concentration and really trying to read what its doing. I have to say it is pretty damn impressive, Ste choosing function over everything on what he has done with it...it works really really well...and it behaved impeccably, and it worked with me letting me know what it was doing/thinking, and hence allowing someone really unfamiliar with it to get some crazy angles from it. I also havent offroaded anything not locked up for a while, and the flex/bodyroll of the arb disconnected coiler was something totally different to the leafers rigid and kinda stable suspension that I use as playthings, so exploring its characteristics and limitations a bit to find out how to get the best from it was a great experience.
At one point it was flexed out, and I commented to Alan that it could do much better than that, I dont think he quite expected what he saw when I proper flexed it, sitting it just right in a pair of holes. Ste cars flexes that much that it just looks broken.LOL

Was great to see how the cars are photographed for the magazines, and the woods are looking brill for a backdrop, and am looking forwards to tommorow to see the others done.

I have decided Ste is swapping his car for my BGL, he doesnt know yet...but possession is 9/10ths of the law I heard...LOL.

Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again...
She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body...
Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer!
