banter general discussions etc

Hi , Last year my old Frontera Sport died and I replaced it with a bloody Astra and I miss it . Today I have been offered a 2.5 TDS San Diego and I would be grateful of any advice before I commit and pick it up tomorrow . It's clean and tidy and sounded nice . It's a 1998 model with 120k on the clock . I want it to pull my sons Cart trailer so I would like 30mpg taking it steady and it needs to be reliable . I've had Discos etc before but love the Fronteras driving position and comfort . Any help would be appreciated . Thank you

You had a fronty before so you know the issue of sills rust etc. The 2.5td is a not bad engine can go into limp mode every now an again easy fix to reset it. They can run on bio diesel your own choice i ran me with no issue with a little huffy on the veg oil

Hi I have just picked it up and the 30 mile trip home was great . It pulls like a train and sounds lovely . I am going to fill her up and have a play in the dunes . Thanks again
