I'm changing a sump on a 57 punto , the sump on is on with silicone gasket ( the original sump ) i can't get it off ! Any ideas ! All bolts are off , it's just the gasket holding it on !!!!

Temped to just sand the original and arildite ( spelt wrong ) the bugger she is selling end of July ( loan paid ) !!!! .......

Ok, I said, you get the parts and we will start 9am sharp the next morning. Turned up and the car was in a 'field' beside his house. Mate proudly announced he had a mechanics manual for the car. All goes well until the head wouldn't budge, referred to the manual, a belter of a book written in italian! The carb and distributor had to come off too. Still, 3.30pm the engine fired up a treat and saw a few more years of life. But fiats? Arghh!. Kodiak Transglobe 2.0 SWB
