Okay we have not got this years out the way to Rhodes yet but Lee and myself where thinking about a driving holiday next year but wholly within the UK. The plan is to hire a decent motor home for up to 12 days and tour the UK taking in a few sights Lee has never seen. It will include Scotland as North as time allows, then down the East Coast towards Norfolk then she would like a day in London and then to the South coast and back up to Merseyside. The itinerary has not been set yet or the direction of travel but the plan is to drive no more than 4 hours a day and get as much in as possible. We have talked about this for years but that was using a VW camper but as we have Jess we figure we might as well go for the motor home and go posh. I can see a few arguments arising here though

Hired camper + Festival = deposit out of the window.... Deffo do the damage waiver thingy on the hire, in case it suffers at the hands of an alcohomol fuelled fool, or at the hands of the other people attending. Lee, be sure to empty the cutlery drawer, and leave its contents at home before you leave...dont want chateau dwifty claret all over the interior.
