Popped into Lidl's last night for bottle of wine and a bag of sugar - and found (and Bought) some bargains.. Offer ends soon - if youve got a Lidls near - get down there quick!

2 tonne Axle Stands (collapsable)- x2 - £7.99
2 tonne trolley Jack - £14.99
3 tonne Bottle jack - £6.99
Telescopic Tyre lever (with 17&19mm sockets) £3.99 (Hellfrauds - £14.99)
Halogen headlight bulbs (x2) - £3.99 (bought 4 sets, 2 for My golf 1 for Mels and 1 for fronty - Hellfrauds charged me £16.99 for 2 bulbs!!)
Anti Freeze tester - 99p (READY FOR WINTER!!! Dont forget to check yours!)
Tyre pressure guage - 99p
Washer fluid - pre mix 5ltr - £2.99
First aid kit (small) £2.99

Theres also a load of safety wear like Hi-Viz, steel toecap boots etc but the trolley was full and wallet was emptying... And the wine was quite nice as well - £9 for 3 cheeky south african Reds... might explain my 'headache this morning...

I'm off to a scrapyard - wish me luck!

Hi Roo, These have a 'hint' of blue, just fitted to Golf - all fine... and at 75 % less than hellfrauds - theres a set in the boot (along with the originals - just in case!)

popped back today for an extra set of stands - you never know...

Hi i went to my local lidl today in Queensferry.And they have never had these in.Bit gutted actually as i wanted a antifreeze tester and new axle stands.

Good news Fog! used mine yesterday , cant go wrong for a few quid!

N1ova, i'm off out again today, Got told by the scrappy yesterday that the Steel rims were £25 EACH! I can buy new for £30 - one more scrapyard to check but it looks like i'm buying new

I can stop by Lidls here (nearest is Blackwater or crowthorne depending on which way we go) and have a look if they have still have testers. I'll post on here later if they have any left, keep an eye out for results and PM me if you want one posted to you. Got the last set of Stands yesterday, 3 trolley jacks left, no bottle jacks, plenty of bulbs etc.

Offer at Lidl's finishes Tues, went today and bought 5 antifreeze testers - cleaned them out - and 4 of them are screenwash testers - 1 is engine coolant..

N1OVA - PM address over i'll get the coolant tester in a jiffy bag tomorrow. Royal Mail pending... should be with you by spring.

In all seriousness, read through the tech section, (look at Drift - the Man-ual / Gregster the Doyen of dimply tyres and see what happens if engines freeze.... (ouch!) apparently monday onwards its going to get chilly... welcome to the winter...

however no jacks - bottle or trolley, stands, screenwash etc, but bulbs a-plenty in Lidl's left - but Aldi are never far behind on special offers.... post it if you see it...

Just got back from my local one, picked up 2 sets of bulbs and a tyre lever. Also got a 1/2 inch drive torque wrench with 3 sockets and extension bar for £16.99

Had lots of trolley jacks and stands but no testers etc. Anyone know the rating of the bottle jacks as they didn't have any in mine.

mines a 3 tonne, the trolley jack and stands are 2 tonne...

For the price... BARGAIN!!
