Well folks, it's been a while so I thought I'd drop in and say a big "G'day!" So it's been about 3.5 years since I sold my Fronty and moved back home to Australia and set myself up right in the bloody centre (Alice Springs) and got stuck here. Though while I don't like being in Alice any more I definitely don't regret moving back home.. My Nissan Pathfinder that I bought before I moved back to Oz has served me faithfully from day one and I still love it to bits. I'm still around folks, though I don't run a forum on 4x4WORLD any more, I just use facebook, sooooo much easier, almost 900 likes on my facebook page so it's far outdone my poor old forum. Anyway, so what made me think to come back here and say Hi? I was doing some searching for Camac Terra 4x4 (A/T's) that I had on my Fronty to see if I could get some here in Oz AND I saw something come up for FOG on Twitter (Google, who'd've thunk it hey), so here I be... I don't really expect many people on here will even remember me these days but having been a moderator etc and having organised many laning days I guess there might be some who will still remember. Take it easy folks, and hopefully some day you might come visit here in Oz and I can show you how we go 4WDing Simon

Cool Nice to know I'm still remembered.. though it seems that I need to pop over an organise another entire weekend event, just been reading a thread from 2007 where I organised an entire weekend, EEEK But it was great fun. Actually, I've been wondering if the people who managed to buy my Frontera for an absolute bargain basement discount price have ever popped up on here? Anyone seen my Fronty on here any more? Anywho.. anyone else who used to go out and run amok with me still on here?

Find a way between Cheshire and Hampshire without doing any tarmac? I remember getting you out for your first green laning expedition, in fact I remember getting a few people in Hampshire involved in that as a pass time. Good to see a few familiar names cropping up there folks. Trugga, I remember that pic/day Sorry, short visit tonight, out bush again tomorrow.. Simon

Watcha Si I only meet you once, bought your 2.0 litre engine off you after your 2.8 transplant. Done a bit of an overall on your old lump, had head skimmed and valve seats ground, seals all renewed, purely because it was convenient to do whilst the engine was on the bench. Engine is still sitting on the bench because I bought a 2.8 SWB A and spent my money on that motor instead. Still haven't done Water Lane but will do one day if a Hampshire laning day comes on the agenda. All the best, Pete

Ahhh yes of course the toolbox.. my aunt and uncle asked about it and said they were very disappointed that I didn't bring it back with me, until I explained that it would cost an absolute fortune to ship it over, as a consequence though I've got a bigger and better toolbox now, hehe (though I have to pull my finger out and get some work done on my Pathfinder as well.) Pedro, I completely forgot that I had even sold that engine, hahaha. Glad you found a nice 2.8 to keep ya busy, though I'm sure that engine will still be good and reliable whenever you want to play with it again. Just been looking at some lovely pics of Fronteras, even some older ones from when I was in Club Calibra as well.. lots of great memories.. hehe
