Re: Dakar Rally - Frontline to Finish LineA fantastic must see. The programs really did entertain, while drawing you into the unfolding drama.
I'd been following the Teams posts on FB earlier in the year, but you just don't appreciate the problems they faced untill you see the video footage. The frustration shown in the final episode felt so real and not sensoring the language really got over not just the frustrations, but the determination of the crew to want to finish. Has it really been two years since I met some of the crew in Wales as they got trained (by the Stig), gained experience and did enough events to get their international licenses. ![]() A marshals view of the R2R team gaining experience - 8th September 2012, Radnor Forest, Wales Cracking TV - watch it. https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/dakar-ral ... /episode-1 https://www.itv.com/itvplayer/dakar-ral ... /episode-2 Lawrence
Re: Dakar Rally - Frontline to Finish LineYeah I watched both episodes back to back last night total respect for these guys.
There attitude to life is a lesson to us all why don't these guys earn professional footballers money these are the role models our youngsters should be looking up too I would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !

Re: Dakar Rally - Frontline to Finish LineThat was awesome viewing, about time we had some decent TV programs. To be fair they did bloody well against the able bodied.
