Buying a Frontera

Hi,

New to the site, looking at buying a Diesel Frontera ideally 2.2? It will be used only for towing a caravan, and looking to spend no more than around £1800 if possible. I need to know if this amount would get me a decent car? What issues/problems should I look out for? and are there any models I should avoid? All help and advice most appreciated.

Should find an ok truck for that mate, look out for the common dash faults and also they have problems with the fuel pumps which can cost cost half what you wana spend if they go.
Look on ebay and try for good s/h

Hi I bought this 99 2.2 DTI LWB from a FOG member and I love it and yes I got the wheels with it and it was less than what your budget is:-



You should find a good one for that budget.

Watch out for the airbag light being on now & then but just squeeze the connectors under either of the front seat's or give the connections a clean,if you counter this problem
