Re: 3.2I think the short answer is no.
The 3.2 found in the Frontera is an Isuzu engine, code 6VD1. What's in the Vectra is a GM unit, although its engine code I'm not sure about but will probably be something along the lines of X32XE Jim...

Have found this though. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_54-De ... ne#LA3_3.2 ROADS? WHERE WERE GOING WE DON'T NEED ROADS!!
Re: 3.2Definatly different.
The Vectra, Omega, Cavalier and Calibre V6 engines are all the same design. Just different displacement and add ons. All are GM design The Frontera V6 is the Isuzu 6VD1W 3.2 DOHC V6. Completely different designs. Not interchangeable. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
Re: 3.2Just to confirm what ratcav has said I have just spoke to my mate at vx and they are GM engines.

Re: 3.2Hound Dog ... as in the Vectra, Omega, Cavalier and Calibre are GM engines, not the Frontera
I will add the Vauxhall Monterey is also the Isuzu 3.2 V6. Though came in two versions The early SOHC 3.2 V6 (12 valve) 6VD1 The later DOHC 3.2 V6 (24 valve) 6VD1W The latter was fitted to the Frontera B Series. Visually they both look the same at first glance, but both hold subtle differences.
