and a Range Rover ( one after P38 ), he got Nissan stuck in a snow drift and got frightened in RR. My 20 year old standard Frontera Sport went up the lanes no problem he was amazed. So much for his £15 to £30k cars compared to my £500 Fronty

Re: Frontera winsit was parked in my car park this morning
Re: Frontera winsHi Simon, yes parked in your car park cos its cheaper to go to Manchester in a Corsa than a Fronty
Re: Frontera winstrue enough. It's been fun using the fronty's in the snow this year, about time we had plenty of the white stuff !
Re: Frontera winsDidn't realise how good the Frontera really is till this snow, was brought up learning to drive in a Series 2a landy and then a Lada Niva ( dont laugh )
Re: Frontera winsnothing wrong with a Niva, they are incredibly capable. Have you seen how much money they make these days ?
Re: Frontera winsNon on ebay at the mo or on auto trader, I used to work for a Lada dealers in Manchester back in the 80's
Re: Frontera winsSmall world, I used to work for the Lada main dealer in Wrexham
Re: Frontera winsWas that owned by Steve Pemberton ( think I got the name right )?
Re: Frontera winsMark Pemberton. It all ended pretty badly
Re: Frontera winsI was out round the country roads on Sunday (dont tell my Dr) had a disco behind me that decided to tandem up and convoy, poor bloke looked freezing and his window was constantly misting up, me nice and warm in the fronty with a clear screen!

Re: Frontera winsim a landy fanboi but ive been seriously impressed with the fronty in this weather
was bashing through 3-4 ft drifts at 40mph this morning (on my second attempt at it ) just to get to the main road. its actually a capible little car. very underrated. using it in RWD most of the time lets me scare off tail gaters with a blip of the loud pedal as well bargain. although i did have to remount the nudge bar and spotters last night as the bracket had rotted away.
Re: Frontera winsI have seen alot of the over rated 4x4s getting stuck in bad weather. Will deffo agree that the frontera is under rated. My m8 who has a swb fronty has been places with it landrovers can only dream of lol .
