down with fronteras up with landys

well guys i was looking around on the web and i came across a landrovers chat froum and they where putting vauxhall fronteras down i will not repeat what they said but i wish i could have said well at least fronteras dont rust out as much as a landrovers do my answer to landrovers is i would have a frontera any day

People slate what scares them or is unknown. I've been on the receiving end of this kind of slander only to prove them wrong later in the day when 2 Disco's needed towing through the muddy ruts and I drove through in my shorty. OK a lifted shorty isn't a tricked 90 but truck for truck I'll go anywhere anyone is daft enough to take a landy and I'll come back.

guys on that forum seem like a proper bunch of ....... no need for it i say! I can admire the land rovers and the purpose built nature of the defender etc etc and got no beef with them, its always the land rover drivers that start picking faults on the frontera and then say we're insulting land rovers...... Bit annoying!

the only reason i would get a 110xd, is purely because of the army thing...
for me, the Harlot is a truck on the outside, and a nice car on the inside. which is as close to perfect as i reckon you're gonna get. the unimog also gets me going, but thats a whole other class of vehicle.

got to be said, the frontys are way better than the discos i have a 2.5tdi disco and its not a patch on my 2.3td on road or off road both have muds on and a 2" lift, the fronty kills it. Just wish the fronty had a tad bit more poke in it ill sit a 80-90 mph in the fronty and feel stable but in the disco you feel sea sick and the slightest of bumps and its brown pants time . Never get why vauxhall didnt make a 7 seater
