They really wanted to get to that fire, somehow I can't really see our local trumpton doing that really. Not because the guys wouldnt try it but the Health n Safety focused station orifice would be having kittens and then theres all the paperwork to fill in explaining why the trucks a wee bit damp on the inside...

I've seen the planes in Canada that fly low and scoop up water to put out forest fires - so that's how they do it in Austrlia then eh

Thought you had been filming me when I saw the title Ste. The main road out of our village was unpassable due to floods this morning, so I tried another route, the police had closed this due to the road collapsing. One more road to try and once again, road closed signs. I had to get out as needed to check on some animals for someone. There was a BMW in the middle of the flood and the water was upto the screen. I went in slowly and trickled through ok, could hear the water flowing on the side of the doors, which in a trooper with a 3" lift eqauls a deep puddle. BM had been abandoned and looked like the people had escaped out of the boot.
