I hastened up to the local tyre fitter to see if he could remove them with the help of a pneumatic thingy.
No such bloody luck! He did tell me though, 'let a tyre down and phomne the AA if u have cover'
Good call I thought, so i phoned the man in the yellow van who eventually turned up an hour later and set at it with a huge impact driver type thing.
After an hour and a half, yes an hour and a half! of belting the crap out of it with a lump hammer they eventually surrendered to the man in the yellow van.
FFS, let this be a lesson to all and sundry. If you are buying a second hand vehicle of any sort, check absolutley every element you can think of before parting with your hard earned pennies.
So far ive had a slipping clutch, crap suspension and now the wrong fecking locking whele nut key. Have I made a mistake in buying this car?
Dont be silly! I love driving my car! and can only hope it gets better.
All that to say, well doen the AA man who saved the day.
Bill
