Fronty passed M.O.T

Hi all.

My Fronty passed its M.O.T yesterday.

It got all new brakes.
Front exhaust downpipe.
Small patch of welding.

Thats my Fronty all legal for another year.

It nearly cost me 500 quid to get it through. But its all done though.

Its coming up to 4 years of ownership of my Fronty and it really hasnt had much wrong with it,touch wood.

Here is a list of what was done for its M.O.T:-

1. Front drivers side brake flexi hose.
2. Front drivers side CV boot.
3. Front exhaust downpipe.
4. Pair of front brake disc's & brake pads.
5. Both rear brake cylinders.
6. Both rear brake shoes & spring kit.
7. Brand new handbrake cables.
8. Brand new pair of rear brake drums.
9. Small patch welded on passenger side sill at the rear.
10. Exhaust manifold gasket & the manifold had a crack in it and thats been welded up too.

So basically speaking your entire braking system was bolloxed, and it sounded like a Chavvy Saxo

RatCav,the brakes had never been renewed (apart from brake pads) all the 4 years that Ive owned it and what I was told by the garage,the brakes were efficient but needing doing so had them done and the garage told me that they were original brake disc's & drum's.

Well at least you know that your going to be able to stop now. Most important thing in a car I reckon.

That is very true at least its stops even better.

I think most important thing in a car is the cd player.

I better remember to put the new tax disc in the windscreen before I go out tomorrow morning.
