Re: Vito/traffic/transittransit all the way mate. worked on all 3 and transit is most reliable and when it does break is easier to fix
Re: Vito/traffic/transitFamily car not being my truck by the way ! Wouldn't swap her for a gold bar
Re: Vito/traffic/transitIv looked at transits yet !!!!! Will have a wee look tonight ! We only have 3k to spend on 1 as that wipes the business account clean out hahaha
Re: Vito/traffic/transitvito then all the transits in the 3k price bracket wont be worth the money
Re: Vito/traffic/transitEverything at that price range looks goosed to be honest ! I'm feeling we may be best sitting on the cash ! Another £1500 gets you so much more !!!!!!
Re: Vito/traffic/transitRemember the Renault Traffic, Vauxhall Vivaro, and Nissan Primastar are all the same van.

Re: Vito/traffic/transitI would prefer a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.
Seek not excess, God hates he who roams !
Re: Vito/traffic/transitif you can find a petrol/lpg transit youll get a steal. nearly bought a 55 plate for 850 just because people dont like the lpg/petrol ones
Re: Vito/traffic/transitdont by merc we have them at work no room in the cabin and they are very epensive to repair and to be fair they are heaps of poo worse thing they did bought new mercs give me a good old tranny anyday
must get it mucky
Re: Vito/traffic/transitWas in the same predicament a few months ago. If You can find one get a Renault Master, i couldnt find anything that wasnt Fookt, Dented or Rattlin like an old junkie.
I ended up seeing an immaculate Citroen Relay 35k for 3 Grand, had to travel to midlands to buy. Guy was as good as his word on description, alternator buggered when i got home, he had a new one fitted, top man & well worth the money (was searching for 3mths) Good luck, as that is probably what it will come down to in the end. ![]()
Re: Vito/traffic/transit"Rattling like a old junky" that has to bee the best line iv ever heard ! Classic
So bottom line at the minute is don't touch a Vito ! A fancy a traffic being honest
Re: Vito/traffic/transitLPG tranny ! Sounds like a band! A round of applausefor " driving with elbows by the amazing LPG TRANNY "
Will av a wee look at the LPG 1 , Iv no problems with gas !
Re: Vito/traffic/transitmust get it mucky
Re: Vito/traffic/transitIf it was my money I wouldn't touch a new shape transit with a pooey stick. I've had several through work and they've all been nothing but trouble. One of our lads had a vivaro and pound for pound it was more powerful and better on fuel.
Depending on how much stuff you need to carry the VW Transporter might be worth a look too. Don't grow up, just get bigger toys

Re: Vito/traffic/transitHave to admit I borrowed a Vivaro once and it was brilliant to drive, and know a friend who has the renault version and again swears by it. My old job I had a Movano (big sister transit size) and it did everything I wanted it to do. It was abused and just kept on going.

Re: Vito/traffic/transitCant fault a sprinter well maybe a little expensive to repair but hey its a commercial. Picked one up from leicester once and the bloke who took me up there couldnt get away he remembers looking up in his rear view doing 90+ on the M1 and all he could see was Merc badge!!! Brakes are good too
