The day before I prepared it by renewing two lamps, registration plate and one half beam.
Since it was a little oily in the engine bay, I cleaned it.
The clerk had some problem with the exhaust "K-value" (as I understand it meassures the amount of particles).
The limit here in Sweden is 1.1 and the first try gave 4.3. The lowest was 1.2 . The clerk thought it was a cold engine, so he wrote 1.0 in the paper
I got a clean inspection record
and a another year of driving!But last friday it was the common (or well known) power cut outs at about 2000-2500rpm and they are getting worse. So I have to give the engine connectors a really good spray with cleaner. Probably it was the cleaning with high preassure water that caused the problem.
But as it passed the MOT it is worth it!!
