Petrol Lawnmower

Not sure if this is posted in the right place. I'm finally thinking about getting a petrol mower push or self drive and i was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on which make to go for. My budget is a bit tight at the moment. Any advice will be greatly received

Go for a push drive,nice n cheap.Just make sure its runnin a Briggs motor and a good grass collector n ya can't go wrong....

Briggs engine, SELF drive, massive grass collection box (or mulcher attachment) and a cup/bottle holder to place that cool beer in while yer out there mowing the estate..

Thinking about it, cup/bottle holder not needed as you can hold the cool beer bottle while the estate is being mowed. You just need to make sure the wife can reach the controls and steer it well enough to keep the beast out of the flower beds as she will be using it the most while your supervising and making sure that all the beer bottles are cool....

I got my briggs and stratton of freecycle. All it needed was a primer bulb, about £1.50 of ebay . Cheapest mower i have ever got

Im impressed!!!! You all rate the Briggs and Straton engine's. I have got to agree there one of the best little engine's on the market. Any mower fitted with one of these will be ok. Plenty of spares available for them aswell.

Looks like a Briggs and Straton engine is the way to go then that was my main concern
