i had a 2.2 lwb 0n a 96 plate an on a run got 33mpg best ever was 38mpg on a run back from cornwall but you should get 33mpg if your not got a leadfoot also dont forget you have a 2 ton motor with the areodynamics of a house brick

sounds like he has a b so its much more aerodynamic. but yeh dont expect it to go to china on an eggcup full. i treat £10 as 40 miles

HI, I do 6-10 miles a day so short trips, by the time I get to work its just about warm and approx 110 miles on a weekend. You should see 21-25mpg, general driving upto 28 or so if your very careful depending on what tyres you have etc.

My fathers 2.2 is thirsty especially on a short trip. I used it for a month while i sorted bits out on mine and 4 miles a day was costing me £20 - £30 a week. On a long run you couldn't fault it mid 30s easily
Regards Ady Pics of the motor can be found hereComment on the motor here
