Re: MK1 RS000You seen the prices of a brooklands lately Phil, giving up an organ or two is more likely to be required than your fronty!
Love an old skool ford though, sadly most are too expensive these days to warrant having proper fun in them... I had 4 rs2000 mk2's at one point, when they were worth peanuts...a good un running a burton 2.1 on 45's, sporting a set of brooklands 15's, a tidyish one that I swapped for a Supermirafiori sport eventually (and the fiat was much quicker too!)..and the other two I weighed in as couldnt be bothered to weld in sills and turret tops! Had a cossie mk2 at one point, the first in kent, running a 205 block, 16v head with major mods, rouse racing cams and twin 50's...250bhp at the rear wheels, 7.5j x pack RS wheels with cut slicks (naughty but sticky!)...started out as a 1 owner 1600ghia auto that I bought off an old lady with 45k on the clock! My mate Daz had a Mk1 with a BDA in it, that went well and sounded fab... Capris are ok, but never handled as good as a scort, even with the X frame. I had a couple of 3.0s mk3's. one with X pack looked nice, and wound up with a 3.9 rover lump in it. Would love another scort, but they are too much £££ for me to abuse it properly..so might build a tr8 instead at some point, tr7's are still cheap and the V8 lumps are cheap enough to come by thanks to landrovers...reckon I could build a nice sideways monster for a couple of grand, me thinking a Tony Pod replica in the red white and blue BL livery. Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon! Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again... She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body... Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer! MAKE IT or BREAK IT! TEAMXTREME4X4 ![]()

Probably It was once said that the Devil would never dare to cross the River Tamar into Cornwall for fear of ending up as a filling in a Cornish Pasty.
Re: MK1 RS000Your so right Greg, though molested fords are cheaper and a good project you can never get back whats put into them as they are to butchered and generally history-less
I digress though, my other wet dream is a twin carbed 13.00 mini cooper Westo, Smiffy is older than Gandalf Ste
