Gps - great some of the time b****y anoying the rest. They are a part of modern technolgy that now dominate us with 'conditioned response'. The phone rings - we answer it, the microwave dings we open the door, mavis on the gps tells us to turn left we end up in a stream (well not so bad in a fronty).
Coming home today I came across a luton type (showing my age there) delivery van stopped right in the middle of a fairly busy junction with cars squeezing past and almost causing an accident. Thinking the driver might be needing help to get to clear the junction making it safe I pulled up to one side to offer the frontys help, but no, he was completely unaware of the chaos he was causing calmly programming in his next destination!
I know there are plenty of funny 'the gps made me do it' stories out there but has anybody witnessed, or been guilty of inappropiate programming?
Al.
