banter general discussions etc

Hi all.
Driving home tonight stuck in traffic I spotted a Fronty coming towards me from the opposite direction and as it went past myself and the other driver gave each other a glance and sort of quick appretiation of each others vehicle but in these days of 'road rage' people seem to be reluctant to aknowledge other road users too much. This put me in mind of many years ago when I drove an MG BGT and every other MG driver on the road would give a wave whenever they spotted me (there were a few more 'real' sports cars around then). I dont mean a yoohoo wave or the type trhe Queen (god bless her) uses - just a lifting of the hand, palm outwards and steady and hold it for a couple of seconds. Wouldnt it be nice if we could do the same when we see other Fronties on the road?

And back in the day, if you were a member of the AA and had your badge on the front of the car, the AA guys would salute you how about that then maybe the RAC did the same but my dad was a staunch AA man

I get occasional waves from Trooper drivers ... only when they realise mines an Isuzu and not a Disco.
