Re: Car InsuranceUhhh, that's just their index page bud, an idea of which story to look at would be helpful..
I will say though, take anything from their pages with a pinch of salt. There's no such thing as an unbiased or impartial newspaper, they are after all in business to make money, and aren't known as the Daily Wail for nothing. Insurance companies will charge whatever they can get away with, but I'd suspect a large proportion of the costs is to deal with losses from uninsured drivers and legal fees & payouts from both rigged 'accidents' and the no-win no-fee claim for anything brigade. Re: Car InsuranceJim is correct in what he say's about the subject. What gets my back though is the very fact even the police are adding to our hikes by recommending recovery firms in the event of any accident. The police get paid to do so by said recovery firms which increases our premiums. This is bonkers and shouldn't be allowed to continue. Personal injury claims is the killer because some drivers/passengers have turned into being compo led. Another flaw is the compo claims that are up in front of judges to settle and sadly insurance companies are hiking our premiums by not dealing with the claims quickly enough..No they pay top doller for specialists to act in court only to lose..A claim of £1600 which then rose to almost £9000 because of the bigwigs taking there cut which again is bonkers.
Re: Car Insurancewhat i think is bad is the fact that the insurance company's sell you details to ambulance chasers after you have had an accident
then in the next breath the moan about the same ambulance chasers
