Re: Petrol or dieselHi,
Just a quick thought, if you go for the 3.2 V6 make sure its the 2000 model or earlier. Otherwise you will pay £400 road tax as its over 3ltr. Fronty B, 2002 3.2 V6

Re: Petrol or dieselMy dti, with me driving it (flat out or its parked up
Just done a quick MPG calculation and it gets between 32mpg and 41mpg, Im pritty inpressed about that actually, even if I do say so myself lol, was expecting Id only get like 28mpg So as it turns out a dti driven like a goof, by a goof on 31" ATs is still prity good to your wallet, so drive it like Si's gran and god only knows how kind it'll be ![]() My 2.8 shorty - now sold, and comments here My old dti - now sold "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW --- What a Ride!" Re: Petrol or dieselIf your going for a B series I would only ever go for an early X22 DTi or 3.2 V6. Depends on wether you want economy or power. As People have said factor in fuel pump issues if going for the diesel option. Hipo did exactly that. Bought an X22 DTi cheap with fuel pump issues and got it replaced. He has abused that truck of his and it is still going strong. I know he is doing some work for his next MOT but in all honesty its nothing compared to some vehicles, especially when you consider what it has been through and its age.
