Use it as my daily driver unless away on business then I use our C220 CDI (company car), also have the use of our family hack, a 1.2 CLIO.
Fronty obviously gets extensive use off road laning etc.
All said and done I prefer to drive the fronty above all else.
Regards
Stuart

My daily drive is my Ford Ranger XLT double cab 2.5tdi, its ideal for my business (Garden Maintenance) easy to load with rubbish and materials etc and brilliant for towing Frontys from Wales etc etc.
If we go out locally we take the wifes Ford KA, although i dont like being sat so low.
Fronty is just a toy really and needs to be used more than currently possible.
Cheers Pete

up until about 3 months ago the fronty was my daily driver, but now my daily drive is a 1.1 206. The extra cost of insurance and tax is just about covered by the saving in fuel. Fronty used to visit the pumps roughly twice a week, whereas the 206 only gets a £30 drink once every fortnight...still like the odd trip to work in the truck mind.
The greatest lesson in life is to know that even us idiots are right sometimes

Hi, as a daily driver I do use a Ford Mondeo Estate tdci (Company Car).
The Mrs has the Frontera 2.0i we purchased in 2010 just for fun and vacation, but she appreciated it so much so we returned her former Mini One to BMW, as that was credit-based and new brakes had to be done to keep it running. The money we save without the Mini is well enough to keep the Frontera in good condition. And the fuel consumption is not that much higher as the Mini was about 8.6 per 100 km. Insurance now much cheaper - the Frontera has not got fully comprehensive insurance, as it is payed!
I do not like modern cars: Last year I got a 1992 Ford Fiesta 1300ccm Calypso with the rare foldable sun-roof (in good condition) as a back-up - for little money. Was afraid about the Frontera and my job (company car)! Yesterday that has got new MOT. Thinking about a rear spring spacer kit and some rally tires to give her a crossover-look.
My grandfather's car is waiting to get on the road again for it's 50th anniversary, a Mercedes 220Sb fintail from 1963. Few things still to do.
Kind regards, Ian Sorry for my pigeonenglish. My doctor says I have to invest time in SPORT

My daily drive is split between the Frontera 2.3TD and a 1990 Citroen BX Turbo D Estate with 450 thousand kms on the clock and still going well, and for long runs and trips to the UK a Renault Laguna 2, 1.9 dci Estate, There is no road tax in France but motorway charges can be a killer. Also in the stable got a Renault 21 Turbo D Estate and another Laguna 1.6 petrol Estate.

My daily car is a 5.7 litre Chrysler 300C and I purchased the 94' Sport off Ebay in 2010 when it snowed heavily in December. Since then its been used at weekends for clay pigeon shooting, walking the dog and numerous trips to the tip and bottle bank. I have to be totally honest tho (and it's not about better mpg) but i love driving the Frontera on as many days as I can. When I drive it I dont worry about parking it, speed humps, people coming at me on narrow roads or getting stuck and best of all people let you out of T Junctions when i'm driving the Frontera and they dont in the Chrysler! Its on limit mileage as a second car so i try to use it little and often but saying that i've just registered for the Screwball Rally across Europe this year so I may have to change the insurance cover!

Hi all, my B series is my daily work horse. Am a window cleaner in the daytime and a zoo keeper in the evening. I say zoo keeper but not really a zoo, just feels like it. Got a few reptiles and dogs and the mrs has a group of mice. Was at an auction with the other halfs dad and he said "what about that 4x4?" Didnt think i could afford it but managed to get it. Was hooked! She lasted a year before the engine went terminal. Bought another that ive modded and keep adding too, i drive it every day for work and use it for 4x4ing. Loads of fun. Baz

Currently my daily drivers a 1.7td Astra F on veg oil with about 10% petrol added. On it's last legs and should be weighed in within the week. I've bought the Frontera as a replacement. We've got a 2.5 CRD Grand Voyager for family use. Running that on 50/50 bio/diesel. Also got a Ducati ST2 that'll become the daily driver once the Astras weighed in and whilst the Fronteras getting fixed.

I use mine as daily driver and whenever I take family anywhere if I just need to nip to shops or go anywhere where I know parking will be an issue I take the 61 plate Astra 1600.
If it ain't broke, fix it before it does!! You know it will!!
