how far do you go on a tenner
hi my fule gauge didnt work for ages but ive fixed that now with a new earth but when it wasnt i worked it out that i was getting 40miles to £10 worth of fuel and just wounderd if that average ie good or bad mileage for a 2.0i sport what are you getting out of a tenner?

Wish I got that out of mine with the wheels and roof light s and all the other cr@p to make it less economical

when i had the 2.0 sport my fuel gauge didnt work either and a tenner for every 40 miles is wot i got too. and that was with 31 muds on
 . funny thing is my 3.1 trooper gets 45 miles to a tenner and thats with 33s on  my 3.1 fly's by the 3.0's like there ther sitting still. coz the most of them are.

I just got 120 odd miles on £17 though I did get it half price

Between 50 to 60 miles with the 2.8
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been
Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered  )Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... I would say your about spot on there mate...my old block would do about 35 miles the newer one about 40, but if I drive nice then it will push up to 45 (also if I take all the stuff out the back)

Seriously though, I get about 40 miles on £10 of unleaded, but I am in Guernsey which means I can still get fuel for around a pound a litre
