Hi guys,gonna get rid of the lady afta Christmas,just can,t do the fuel anymore as now living on my own,so would like your thought,s on a 2.2dti lwb/swb.and whats their mpg,thank,s

Mid 30's average MPG. Excellent engine, buy one that's had a fuel pump replaced in its lifetime and you'll be fine.

If you are going to get a B Series 2.2 DTI model regular oil changes can really help to keep it going. And yeah they have issues with the injector pumps, but make an allowance for that when you buy one.
There is some darn good information on this Forum on how you can maintain a DTI, and the problems to look out for. All in all the 2.2 DTI is quite a strong lump - again if you give it regular oil changes. Happy searching  My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?

My Old 2.2dti was testament to longevity, it managed 680000 miles before it gave out. it was serviced every two months though.
2000 2.2 tdi limited LWB.

Wow am I reading that correctly - at 680000 miles you cant get a better advert for a DTI than that.

Oil change every 2 months.
oil, filters and engine flush every 4 months!!!! 2000 2.2 tdi limited LWB.
