Engine warning light MOT fail.

Read on the front of this months Snap on catalogue that as of the 1st of Jan it will be an MOT fail if engine warning light is lit. :shock:
Just giving you a heads up as not seen any post about it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but some frontys cant run with eml light out I dont think...
Seem to remember a thread ages back, where i think Kel (krusher) had the answer on a 2.0i sport facelift cutting out, which was a O/C eml bulb...

Might be worth someone measuring the resistance across a good bulb, so a resister can be substituted for the bulb instead to trick the ecu...
