What polishMrs M has just got another car which has been looked after really well and has been treated inside and out with some sort of paint and interior protection. The guy we got it from said that twice a year he uses a two part wash and polish product that keeps the paint protected. What brands of wash/polish do you use.
Re: What polishPolish?? Are you sure?? This is a Fronty forum with lots of muddy stuff

it costs a bit more but so easy to use and you wont better the finish
Re: What polishHave used many makes over the years and after a gap of about 25 years have decided Simoniz polymer sealant liquid is best for my choice. Gives a hard shell finish thats lasts the time too.

Re: What polishi've never polished \ waxed the frontera if fact i've only washed it about three times lol but on my daily and my concourse winning show car i've used the lot but have found megs nxt (in cream form not the spray) to be a really good wax at a fair price. if you dont want to be doing it on a regular basis then muc off miricle shine is fantastic and only cost a tenner from screw fix.
Re: What polishSorry chaps should have mentioned its not a Fronty otherwise I would never have asked the question.
Re: What polishI agree with Autoglym, very impressed.
I did buy some MER which I think is over hyped TBH
Re: What polishI use Meguairs or Poorboys, There both far better than anything you can buy off the shelf and the finish lasts alot longer too, If you give it a good clay, polish and wax the finish can last up to 6 months
Sorry ive got abit of OCD when it comes to car cleaning, dont think its gonna be the same with the frontera, the more mud the better lol
Re: What polishI have a few polishes depending on how I feel.
meguiars spray quick wax, Mer ( not bad but a swine to get off when it dries ) AutoGlym super resin and extra gloss protection ( that stuff is fantastic ) Mine is a 1998 S 3.2 Limited & My Good lady has a 1998 T 2.2 Sport RS

Re: What polishAuto glym all the way. Mer is poop
Re: What polishAuto Glym seems to be popular at the moment so will have a look at some to try and find the best price. Thanks chaps.
Re: What polishAuto glym super resin polish is good but it dosent last long. It mainly fills swirls and RDS's but after a while they evapourate and your back to square one. If you can get your hands on a decent cutting polish and wax itll give you a better finish and also last longer
Re: What polishBlood, rubbed in with a poorly kitten.
Failing that, I only use cheapish mid range stuff on the truck. I used to have a Ford Cougar for shows, which got the whole claybar and 5 stage clean. Whole kit cost about £120 and tasted quite nice. I also have a shiny tongue.
