Cracking day out today... heavy mist in the morning cleared to glorious sunshine.
An excellent field of 38 competitiors were to start, although by the end of the first day, there will be some late night work by some of the mechanics tonight.
I've been appointed post 1+, to ensure no short-cutting around a large hairpin and although there is little opportinity for an incident, on the first run, 5 competitors almost rolled on the transition from gravel to grass.
This afternoon I did actually have to attent to a roll - A Wildcat lay down for a rest - no injuries and the crew later continued on.
I'll be back there tomorrow morning for the final day of the fianal round of the MSA Britpart British Cross Country Championship - it's a close figet at the top with 9 seconds seperating 1st and 2nd place.
If you want to pop along to spectate, it's free and there is little limitation on where you can watch from - just keep off the track and stay safe. Ist car is due to start at 09:00.
