Re: Preventing blown Head GasketReally, not for me would rather just change the head gasket. Sealents can tend to cause other issues like blocking up the radiator etc. Sealents are a tempory fix not a permanant.
Re: Preventing blown Head GasketPersonally I hate these wonder sealants and additives. About the only one that ever works is Wynns Hydraulic Lifter Treatment. You can keep all the other snake oils.
As for that video I have watched a few by him and it seems the louder he shouts the more he seems as if he is trying to con you. Also he claims he puts it in his own car being a Toyota Celica, then at the end is seen driving off in a Ford GTO. He has a couple of good ideas, but a vast majority of them are bad ways of corner cutting. ![]() ![]() My members ride For Banshee the Trooper : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=34626 My members ride for Leeloo the Lotus Edition viewtopic.php?f=46&t=60154 Deceased My members ride for Brenda the Bighorn : viewtopic.php?f=46&t=54771
Re: Preventing blown Head GasketDont even listen to that plonker.
There is a video of him showing how to cure knocks from your front suspension. He's actually under a 4x4 replacing parts and the car is only on a fully extended trolley jack. No axle stands in sight. And he is giving advice? Good one. Regards, Keith.
